WVU Berkeley County Extension
All 4-H exhibitors must follow project requirements posted on the WVU Extension website. Exhibits must be the exhibitor's own work from October 1, 2025 to fair date.
  • Posters: 14" × 22" maximum
  • Tri-fold display boards: 36" × 48" max
  • Exhibitor name should not be visible
  • Self-determined projects need approval
FFA
Future Farmers of America
10 divisions covering woodworking, agricultural mechanics, forage crops, grain & silage, fruit, honey, eggs, vegetables, educational exhibits, and miscellaneous.
  • One entry per member per class
  • Welding/shop projects from current school year
  • Forage crops in clear plastic bags
  • Vegetables on 8" plates
Boys & Girls Club

Photography is the centerpiece — six named photography awards including Best Portfolio, Best Color Print, Best Black & White, Best Abstract, Best Portrait, and Judge's Favorite.

All exhibits must be the exhibitor's own completed badge work from October 2025 to present. Both individual entries and troop exhibits welcome.

  • Food items: covered with plastic wrap, on paper plates

Scouting America
Cub Scouts · Scouts · Venturers · Sea Scouts · Explorers
Open to currently registered Scouts in Berkeley County units. Each Scout enters at their current age level (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, Arrows of Light, Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts, or Explorers).
  • Tri-fold space: 28" × 40"
  • Free-standing posters max 14" × 22"
  • Original work only — no kits
  • Artwork must be matted or framed
  • Written entries bound in a folder
Educational Exhibits
Cross-organization · One per club/chapter
Group exhibits that portray the purpose, objectives, or work of an organization, project, or activity. Judged on caption, attention, interest, informational value, and presentation.
  • Display space: 3 ft frontage × 3 ft deep
  • Blue Ribbon (90–100 pts): $25.00
  • Red Ribbon (80–89 pts): $15.00
  • White Ribbon (70–79 pts): $10.00

Universal exhibit rules
  1. Pre-register online by June 15, 2026. No exceptions. If you don't register, you can't exhibit.
  2. All exhibits must be properly labeled before being placed in the exhibit hall.
  3. All exhibits must be the exhibitor's own work, completed during the current program year (October 2025 to present).
  4. The Berkeley County Youth Fair is not liable for any loss or damage to exhibits — but takes due care of all exhibits.
  5. Each exhibit will be judged on its own merits. An exhibitor may enter only one entry in each class.
  6. Exhibits must be received Saturday, August 1, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Picnic Pavilion.
  7. All exhibits must be in place and ready for judging by 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
  8. Indoor exhibits may be removed Friday, August 7, 2026, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Failure to remove on time forfeits 2027 fair eligibility.
